The OPT Hydrophone System is designed to work directly with OPT's underwater cameras, attaching via a wet connector. The audio signal is combined with the video stream and available for playback or recording through a web browser. The frequency range is ideal for recording the vocalizations of cetaceans including whales and dolphins, making it a valuable tool for marine biologists and ocean researchers. The hydrophone operates omnidirectionally below 10kHz and covers a wide frequency range from 20Hz to 45kHz.

Remote Power and Solar System

Description
The OPT Remote Power and Solar System is designed for remote locations with or without wireless access. The SRP-P40 uses high-efficiency Alkaline batteries for longer life and less weight, providing more power in a smaller package at half the weight of standard rechargeable lead batteries. The power pack is ideal for shipping or hand-carrying into remote locations. Power packs can be configured to work with dedicated local wireless networks and recharged using specially designed solar systems. Solar systems are designed and built based on each customer's unique requirements.

High-Powered Underwater LED Lighting System

Description
The OPT High-Powered LED Lighting System complements OPT's ultra-high-definition underwater cameras. Each OPT-HPL lighting module emits 60 watts of white light covering 90 degrees in both horizontal and vertical directions. The highly compact modules can be daisy-chained to cover a wider area, with the system supporting up to four modules over a single underwater power cable. Wet-mateable connectors allow lights to connect directly to cameras on some models, eliminating additional cabling to the surface. Each LED module features a 316 marine-grade stainless steel housing with tempered glass lenses, rated to 180 feet (55 meters) or more. Designed with overheating and reverse connection protection, operating within a wide 10 to 30 VDC range for longer cable installations and battery operation. Coated with a special anti-biofouling protective film that maximizes long-term underwater performance.

Hybrid Underwater Cable System

The OPT Hybrid Cable System supplies both data and power over a single ruggedized underwater cable. Especially valuable when used with the LED lighting system, it delivers power sufficient for both the OceanCam and up to four lighting modules, greatly simplifying deployment. With a wet-mating connector, the underwater hybrid cable can be easily transported and safely deployed. Specially formulated with high-grade polyurethane, the outer sheath has extremely high abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction providing maximum protection against harsh open ocean conditions. Can be configured to support data plus power or PoE (Power over Ethernet) over a single cable. Available in 50 and 100 metre lengths.
